This has got to be one of the best music DVDs around, H.I.M. have got to be one of the best bands on the planet, anyone who hasn't heard any of their music needs to. This DVD contains material that any H.I.M. fan would go crazy for, it contains their early work dating back to 1995 up until the greatest hits album 'And Love Said No...' 1997-2004. Contains all of the classic H.I.M. videos for Wicked Game, Pretending, Right Here In My Arms, and many more including live footage of a cover version of Billy Idols Rebel Yell, and also contains an extra Disc 'H.I.M. VS Bam', that is incredibly funny, and shows you Bam Margera (Of Jackass and CKY fame) making the videos for songs off H.I.M.'s fourth album 'Love Metal', and also the CKY/Jackass crew are involved in H.I.M.'s video Heartache Every Moment, and this is a must buy for any fan.
A Good Example of What Music DVD's Should Be August 31, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
An absolute must for HIM fans.
This fantastic DVD features tonnes and tonnes and tonnes of footage of the band. Their entire back catalogue of videos is extensive to say the least, but also features loads of live footage and a few interviews to boot. Also features a few easter eggs such as a demo video made right back before Greatest Love Songs!
The DVD is vert easy to navigate, and features some fantastic animated menus brought to life by some atmospheric music courtersy of Burton. Each album menu has a different theme which is a very nice touch.
All of the videos are high quality, ive found no gliches throughout the dvd.
The videos themselves are fantastic, especially from Razorblade and Deep Shadows, when the band were at their peak. The Limited Edition also has a bonus disc titled 'Him vs. Bam', which is a very funny documentary following skateboarder and buddy Bam Magera as he makes the majority of videos from Love Metal and Love Said No. You soon realise that Bam could be the one who keeps Villes feet on the ground...
A very good buy, well worth the money, this puts many other Music DVD's to shame.

This is not like you the music DVD'd you usually see, its just pure HIM greatness and with the second DVD of the Bam Vs HIM you'll be made up.

Best Music DVD ever!! February 5, 2006 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
You must buy this DVD for the 2nd disc alone!! Read the other reviews on this page, and they all say the same! It's basically an hour long "making of" of a few HIM vids by director Bam Margera - but what sets this apart from other documentaries is how well it's edited together, and how hilarious it is! If you ever thought Ville Valo took himself too seriously after viewing the videos on the first disc then you'll be pleasantly surprised. The whole doc plays like an episode of Jackass, with Bams madcap stunts at centestage. Brilliant.Obviously there's the vids and live footage on the first disc too making this amazing value for money. If you like HIM, you must buy this right now - you will like them even more after watching it I promise.
Worth The Money! July 16, 2005 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I actually bought this in a shop but 15 is still very good value for 6 hours of footage - 5 hours of videos, live shows and interviews plus 1 hour of Bam vs. HIM.I love the fact that even though I haven't been a fan for that long I can still see all the old videos and some of the old video footage (from Greatest Lovesongs 666, Razorblade Romance etc). The interviews (especially for Love Metal) are interesting as well as you get a good insight into the music and the style. However, in my opinion the second DVD HIM vs Bam is by far the best part of the DVD. This is basically a Making Of for "And Love Said No", "Buried Alive by Love" and "The Sacrement" focussing on the band on a more personal level. That is more interesting than the normal Making Ofs which generaly are about the video and how the story or the idea came about.
