Oh my god never again!
Ok, the first epilator i bought was a Braun eversoft silk epil; which was preforming an working fine. However, I saw an ad claiming that the Emjoi Optima was the latest model of any epilator available in the market. So i bought one for that reason - thinking this would preform better and faster.
I must say this was more expensive than my old one. When i got it i was pleased witht it. It looked modern and small. I used it, i must say it was somewhat faster. It did the job just as good as my old one, only faster. With my older Braun it took me about 30 mins to do both my legs. With this one about 20 mins. I probable used it about 8 (i think less) times and it died on me. It stopped working. If you saw my epilator u would say it was bran-new, like if it has been taken out of the seal box it comes in. Not a single scratch.
It still is under warranty exept i don't have the receipt. I tried taking it back and contacted emjoi but since no receipt too bad.
I am back in using my Braun, I must say i've had it for about 4 years to-date (3/07/2006). I have used it to do my legs, full brazilian, under arms, facial hair over and over again.
Story cut short - this Emjoi cost me alot more, it lasted me alot less than a year. Never again will buy Emjoi.
Epilator now do the same job! but I would try a more reliable bran. My choice is braun. I've also seen the newer model Braun has out the silk epil x'elle i ordered mine 4 days ago hopefully will receive it soon. Will write review on that one and let u guys know!!!
