Product Description Hop, skip, jump or run, the HR102 heart rate watch from Oregon will measure your heart rate while you exercise thanks to its wireless pectoral strap. The HR102 heart rate watch will let you establish your own training program by zone and the sound alert system will tell you when you have reached your maximum and minimum programmed limits. The HR102 functions as a watch with a calendar and alarm. It also allows you to see your personal data which is made easy by its backlit face.In order to withstand different training conditions, the HR102 heart rate watch is waterproof at up to 3 bars and its pectoral strap resists water splashes!

Worst choice ever! April 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought it for my father and used it only once before it breaks out. The watch simply can't receive the signal from the strap and the HR monitor is totally out of use..............
Not Good Value March 26, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I agree with many of the reviewers that found the readings unstable. It jumps from 88 to over 160 and back again, and after a short while, the strap looses connection to the watch(this is with new batteries and the unit is less than 2 months old) I changed this for a Polar FS1 from Tescos for 14.50!!!! and i'ts much better.
You get what you pay for! March 1, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It worked great for about 2 months until the display just froze. Replacing the battery had no effect so it ended up in the bin!
worked for a month...update to come February 13, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this for Christmas last year and was thrilled as it worked well and for the first time, I was able to monitor my heart rate during spinning classes. Then, after about a month, I started getting erratic readings. A 20 min brisk walk saw my heart rate go from 90 to 180 in the space of 2 mins, and I was walking at a constant pace the whole time.
I have taken good care of it, wiping it clean after every workout, so was very disappointed when it started acting up.
I rang Amazon and the customer service desk was very helpful and are sending me a replacement. Will see how the next one holds up.
Rather buy one that works February 10, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I had to return this item as it was functionally useless. The reading was not only very erratic but very different to the one I got from holding the sensors on the gym equipment.
