Don't April 5, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
When this arrived, I couldn't wait to open the box to try it out. The instruction manual was a bit cryptic, but I managed to figure it out and programmed the watch for the Smart Training function. I found it a complete disappointment when the watch failed to recognised the sensor. After about 30 minutes of wearing the belt trying different positions, trying different functions on the watch, it suddenly worked and was showing my heart rate. I tried this for about 15 minutes without a problem, showing accurate BPM. I decided to train with it the next day and it just didn't work at all. I tried changing the battery on the sensor but to no avail. Before I was going to send it back I tried it again and it worked right away! So again I tried taking it off and putting it on again...surprise surprised, it stopped responding. Definitely something wrong and even more frustrating is that it works intermittently.
