I have to be honset, this was my first Filtered Coffee machine and I am impressed. For the price you get a good machine with an added milk heater and frother (watch out for splash-back though).Despite the frother and milk jug being a bit of a pain to clean, there's only one other gripe I have about this machine - the cup size. Seriously, is this what those crazy Italians call a cup size? Now I don't have a huge tankard or anything, but what I thought to be a small mug and it'll easily take 2 cups worth from the main jug.
8 minutes to make 10 cups of coffee sounds impressive, but when those cups are only a little larger than shot-glasses then it's not such a great time after all.
It's a good thing I don't drink that much coffee (at least I didn't think I did till I got through my first "10 cups").
The two faults are quite minor in my opinion and coffee side of the machine is very easy to clean.
It makes a mean cup of joe.
