There's so many recipes in here to try and all very different, you're bound to find one to suit your mood: sweet, savoury, flowery, low fat.... I've only tried a couple but they've turned out better than recipes from other sources. Although the American cup measuring system really isn't as easy as it's cracked up to be (but only for us british), after a few attempts, you can kind of work out how to do it the proper way! After that, it'll be smooth sailing through all 500 recipes! Absolutely delicious!   April 11, 2007  35 out of 36 found this review helpful I bought this book as I've recently got back into baking and tried my hand at cupcakes. I've never seen so many recipes in one book - from the simple to the simply amazing. I tried out the cookies and cream cupcakes on my colleagues who absolutely loved them and have since been begging me to try more recipes - I tried one or two myself :o) and I have to say they were fantastic. I don't have an electric whisk but am about to get one, then the cupcakes will be even more simple to make, you really don't have to be a very experienced cook to make very impressive cupcakes. The only down side is the measurements are American ie in cups etc, it took a bit of working out at first.
