 Debbie's Best All Round Kids Book August 12, 2008
Another brilliant cake book from Debbie Brown. The designs in this book can be approached by a first time cake maker or a professional. I make cakes for a living and own all of Debbie Brown's books, I find the designs from this book are the most popular with my customers and they are so easy and quick to make. Highly recommended

If you are new to decorating, or, more importantly, you do not have any Debbie Brown books, then this is great for you. It has some brilliant ideas and all are explained in Debbies easy to follow instructions. However, if, like me, you have all her books and have been decorating a while then you will have seen quite a few of these cakes before. However, there are lots of new ones. At the Amazon price I would still have bought it as there are some new ideas, but I do wish authors wouldnt put a new picture on the front but re use old cakes inside. It just confuses people, which is why I have given it a 3 star rating. It would have been a good idea to see the index first then you know what you are getting. In short, its a good book, just not all new.

The book has been laid out so that it is very easy to follow. Would recommend reading the first few pages and your chosen recipe first instead of just jumping in! The cakes are easy to make as long as you are prepared to dedicate a few hours to them. They are well worth the effort just to see the children's faces!

Very basic sugarpaste decoration book yet designs as all beautiful and very easy to make. No special tools needed. Designs will please most children and sometimes even adults! Highly recommeded

I own this book as well as some others by Debbie Brown. This one is just as good as her others and you can produce bold, bright cakes for children of all ages. Great instructions as usual and lovely photographs. Well worth buying
