I have been looking for a cookery book on stews & casseroles and was quite pleased to come across one that wasn't written in America! I have since bought more of this series and I am very happy with the results, as I am usually a beans on toast kind of guy.
Don't be put off by it only having 48 pages, as there are 33 recipes in this book. You could try Beef Stew With Walnuts, Pork & Apricot Casserole, Chicken & Bacon Casserole, Wild Duck With Apples...is your mouth watering yet?
Some of the recipes take a bit of preparation, but I tend to prepare them the night before and just throw them into the slow cooker in the morning, so I have a lovely casserole waiting for me when I come home from work.
This book is worth getting just because of the low price and I can assure you that it will become one of the more used cookbooks on your kitchen shelf.

I have most of this range and I use them most days. The ingredients are items you mainly keep in your larder and they are easy to follow. I love cooking and have many cookbooks, but I can honestly say that this range of books are the most used. Traditional and wholesome recipes that will provide you with many gorgeous treats!!!!!!!! You can also purchase any of these titles from the publisher if you cannot locate any of them - this is a service I have had to use as Amazon do not stock all of them. Its not entirely true that you get what you pay for - in some cases you get MORE!!! and I am pleased to say this is one of those cases.
