Loved it February 9, 2008 Really enjoyed the conclusion to the saga, I enjoyed the characters as well as the setting of the second world war - it's not my normal genre but would recommend as a joyful, enthralling yet easy read.
What an emotional story! August 24, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have read and greatly enjoyed the stories of the Sutton Clan so far,and this book is the topper! I hardly ever become emotional enough about a story that I actually cry,but Windflower Wedding opened the floodgates!I balled my eyes out! Yes, that's right, tears pouring down the face, nose running, the works! I don't want to give the story away,so I can't say what opened those floodgates, but be forwarned, you'll need a box of tissues for this one! But don't get me wrong, it was a GOOD cry! Now I can't wait to read The Linden Walk to find out what else is in store for the Sutton Clan! Don't worry,I've got my hanky at the ready!! Thanks Ms. Elgin! What a story!!
once again the clan are fabulous September 2, 2004 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
It is often said that when you find a book in which you feel part of the story, as if you were actually there, then it must be a good book. Well this is true of windflower wedding. The story of the clan continues and in this book we learn a bit more about each character. It is written in such a brilliant way that you cannot put it down. The story of Daisy and Keth come to fruition finnaly, but those of the other coples is just starting to blossom. I am so please Elgin has brought out Linden Walk as the final book in the series as i do not think i could stop loving the Suttons just yet.
A wonderful ending for the Sutton clan. July 14, 2001 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Having read and reread all of the books in this series several times, this is a great conclusion to the story of Rowangarth and the family who inhabits it. There is both happiness and despair in store for the Suttons as the Second World War reaches its conclusion.I'm always sad when I reach the end of this book and have to say goodbye to the characters I love. The first time I got this book, I admit I flicked through to find out how my favourites, Bas and Gracie, fared, before I read the whole thing. The only word to describe this, and the other three books in the series, is 'fantastic'! I highly recommend it.
A great conclusion for the Sutton Clan January 21, 2000 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book is just as wonderful as the others of the series. There are plots and twists to keep you interested and it's great to find out what happens to the family. I recommend reading the entire saga!
