I bought mine in November last year and it gets used around 4-5 times a week. I'm very impressed - sure the glass jug isn't light but when you've got frozen fruit hitting it at high speed I think I'd prefer glass as plastic may mark over time. I haven't had any problems with mine and it makes great smoothies - it's the only way I'll ever get near to the recommended amount of fruit per day. I'm considering buying one for my parents this coming Xmas.

This is a great smoothie maker because it is simple to use with very little to set up. It is really easy to clean and the dispenser tap works perfectly, allowing all the bits and fibre through- just the way a real smoothie should be.

This looks nice - but isn't very practical. The glass jug is very heavy. Too heavy when then also filled with ingredients to make a smoothie. I much preferred my previous plastic jug.
The tap is a good idea - but on mine it leaked. My glass jug cracked after only a few uses and I have binned and am buying a different make. Would not recommend.

Bought one about 3 months ago and it worked fine. Have since moved house and havent used the machine for a couple of weeks. On using it again it won't start, appears that the motor has broken. Must have used it in total no more than 12 times. Very poor quality product avoid this as it should last longer than 12 times.

I bought the Kenwood Pro Smoothie and few days ago, I have tried many different blenders and this is the worse possible.
I tried to make a shake (which I have done many times with various blenders) of bananas, dates and milk. The dates got stuck at the bottom and werent blended. Obviously, there was no taste to this shake. The same thing happened when I puried tomatoes. Part of the tomatos got stuck at the bottom of the blender.
