The recipes cover a good range of tempting and tasty dishes which are presented in a straightforward style that is easy to follow, even by the inexperienced, and give a result that seems authentic.The ring binder format makes the book practical for use in the kitchen but, I wonder why the recipes are numbered since all the indexing refers to the book's page numbers?
With no illustrations, it is a book for the cook not the cookbook browser. Therefore, for some, the use of bottled and tinned produce in some recipes may not be liked - although this is sometimes helpful if authentic fresh ingredients are not available.
For those in the UK in particular, sourcing some of the items may prove difficult but if you do your research, its not imposible!
