I bought one of these, and it worked reasonably well until exactly one week after the warranty expired! The digital display quit working, and the turntable is unreliable. The grill has also packed up, and the whole thing is a disgracefully overpriced piece of flimsy tat.
My previous combi micro/grill/convector was a much sheaper Samsung which served me faithfully for 15 years with no problems until the day it just wore out. I am now seeking a replacement, but it won't be from Sharp!

I purchased this item as an ex display model for 80 from Comet 2 yrs ago. 1 yr and 2 wks later the display function stopped working rendering the oven inoperable. i phoned Sharp and they graciously as a gesture of goodwill paid for the parts required, however it cost me 40 for the labour. 2 yrs later ( fingers crossed ) its still working fine, but I won,t be buying another when this 1 finally gives up the ghost. I shall stick to Bosch appliances in future, never let me down yet.

We have had one of these for a few years now and it has needed taking apart quite a few times for repair. The turntable has gone wrong due to flimsy drive components needing to be replaced and after the first power cut the display had some missing bars making it difficult to read After another recent power cut the display is now unreadable The part can be bought online but costs 61.58 + delivery which I have decided is not worth it because it will happen again so in the bin it goes. Generally they are great for cooking chicken etc but its a waste off resouces to make something that has to be scrapped because the display goes wrong or the turntable stops (although the part for that was 10) most shops would charge so much as to make it un-economic to have repaired

I bought this microwave combination oven in August 2004 to replace my beloved 15 year old Sharp microwave combination oven. What a difference in quality! Firstly, the oven never seemed to reach the correct temperature. Now, the LCD display has packed up after a power cut. I've checked reviews on the web and I see I am not alone in having exactly these problems. It did cook great baked potatoes, but I wont be rushing out to buy a Sharp combi oven again.

I have had this oven for the last 8 months and this has been really useful cooks food very well and because I don't have a oven it is a perfect alternative and would suit anyone who doesn't have enough room for an oven, or just someone who want a good quality microwave which can be used as grill and oven as well. another good product from sharp highly recommend it.
