Good all-rounder July 13, 2008 I bought this microwave about 8 months ago, and am very happy with its performance. The menus are easy to use, there are 2 defrost settings - one based on weight and one based on time - and it looks good, too! Excellent value for money.
FLIMSY AND POOR QUALITY February 27, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I decided to risk buying this microwave after reading all the reviews, but I am really disappointed with the quality. The whole thing just feels so cheap and poorly made compared to my old microwave. It looks great and works well but is just too cheaply made from flimsy materials.
The front door should be safely attached to stop radiation leaking. It wobbles on its hinges and has a small gap in the corner and the whole thing is also much nosier than my old microwave.
All in all, I do not feel that I am getting my moneys worth with this one and have sent it back.

The last reviewer was incredibly unlucky. I took a gamble based on the other reviews and purchased the above model, and am very pleased with it. Looks good, very simple to use, and very quiet (my previous Sharp microwave sounded like a jet taking off).
Please do not buy! December 19, 2007 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought this as it looked good and was reasonably priced. The first microwave we received, indeed looked the part and made all the right noises but nothing happened - no heat! We figured we had just been unlucky so sent it back and asked for a replacement. The replacement microwave arrived yesterday, we tried again, it also DOESN'T WORK!! Very annoying, we even rang Daewoo direct to check we weren't missing something obvious with the operation, no, it just doesn't work. In Amazon's defence they have been great with the returns process and very efficient. Save your time and effort though and order something else!
Natty little item May 21, 2007 19 out of 19 found this review helpful
Excellent ! It does all that we need it to do. Instruction book fooled us for a while though...'To open the door, press the 'door open' button. There isn't such a button but just pull the door open. Cooking stops immediately. Good value for money and very neat.
