I bought this phone for my 70 year old mother a few months ago. I decided on this model because Which? Magazine recommended it. I'm glad to say they were right and the phone is great. Its easy to set up and use and because both me and mum have poor eyesight the illuminated numbers pad means we don't struggle to much to find the keys we want.
With lots of grandchildren in the house the handset has been dropped quite a few time with no damage so far, so for us this phone is a winner and I'm now looking to buy another one for my home.

I bought this recently, based on a "best buy" recommendation from Which magazine, following an unhappy year with a much cheaper BT phone. The extra cost was well worth the outlay, as the superior quality of the product was immediately obvious. I'm very pleased with this purchase --- I think it's excellent.

Recently purchased this telephone, I spent quite a long time researching and I have to say I am delighted with this model. I cannot think of another feature I would require. I like the facility which allows me to record a persons name against their telephone number in the handset phonebook and when they call me my recording announces their call (you need to subscribe to caller display for this to work). Very clear tone and nice looking machine.

I bought this phone a few months ago, after a fair amount of research. I also bought 3 extra handsets, also via Amazon.
I have found the phones to be brilliant. Phonebooks in each hadnset, possible to check answerphone messages by dialling in from outside the house, ansaphone beeps when there is a message (saves missing messages by not noticing the red light), speed dial etc etc. I can not think that anyone would need more from a set of handsets - oh, and sound quality great too.
I would thoroughly recommend it!

Can you assign a ring tone to specific numbers so that you can tell who is ringing without being able to see the handset, please?
