Another great addition September 25, 2007 8 out of 14 found this review helpful
I have just bought Tana Ramsay's new book having just seen her on the telly cooking from it. I can say, with hand on heart, that I have tried nearly every recipe, apart from one or two, from her last book Family Kitchen, and although I have only cooked the Veal Parmesan from the new one, I know it is going to be as well thumbed as the last and I wont be disappointed.
Great Cookbook September 25, 2007 9 out of 14 found this review helpful
I just tried the Bang Bang Chicken recipe , which has also featured in the latest edition of Closer magazine. It makes such a delicious meal-I cant wait to try some other recipes from Tana's cookbook. I definitely recommend it.
Delicious & Real Food September 25, 2007 10 out of 17 found this review helpful
I was so excited to see that Tana Ramsay has published another cookbook. It's a beautiful book, full of lovely colourful photos and most of the recipes I will definitely use.
I get the impression she's just a real woman with a real family and real clothes who likes really good food.
It does what it says on the cover.... September 25, 2007 31 out of 33 found this review helpful
I have never been a great one for following recipes from cook books as it never looks the same as in the picture and there is too much waffle to wade through before you get to the point. However, none of that applies to Tana Ramsay's Real Family Food. It is exactly what it says, Real. Simple but delicious with very impressive results. I have just cooked the orange chicken bake and the double chocolate brownies. Not only were they fantastically delicious - they were so easy to prepare. The explanations are so succinct and to the point that it is a real pleasure to cook from. Also, whilst it has wonderful recipes in for children and all the family, there is plenty of sophisticated recipes too so if you are cooking for friends there is plenty to choose from. I will be trying the Beef Wellington this weekend and I am really looking forward to it which is not something I thought I would ever say!
Pretty lame cookbook September 20, 2007 5 out of 27 found this review helpful
These receipe's are pretty basic. Seems to be cashing in on her husband's success. Try the real thing and not the imitation.
