You can read it for pleasure; then look through the pictures and enjoy it again; and then go and cook the food and double your enjoyment. The Tasty Greek   January 25, 2005 I had this cooking book "The Tasty Greek" Bought for me by my partner for christmas. The book has a great lay-out, And has easy to follow instructions. The artwork and Illustrations are fantastic, So to are the poems,which is quite different! This book is a winner! If you love greek food, you'll love this book. An absolute winner in my eyes. Go out and buy this book now! you'll be glad you did. 10/10 My Review of "The Tasty Greek Recipes of Cyprus"!   November 19, 2004  3 out of 3 found this review helpful When seeing this book on Amazon and having tasted Cypriot food many times is Cyprus made by my Cypriot friends, I couldn't wait to try get this book home to try some of the 'Tasty Greek's' recipes for myself, and to my delight when trying a few of the recipes in this book I was very impressed with the results. The 'Tasty Greek' has set this book out in such an easy to follow way and it is so clear in it's instructions that it is almost impossible to get any of these Greek Cypriot dishes wrong. Overall I think this is a great book and a brilliant idea as there aren't many alike, going into such detail of recipes. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in trying these meals for themselves. I think the author has done an remarkable job and it seems as if he's got his whole family involved in the book. The text is not only large and simple to read, the recipes are very straight forward and easy to follow. Having made a few of the recipes the pictures really are what you see is what you get. It was relaxing reading the poems and theirs not only six poems as suggested by the book synopsis, the author has written a selection of small poems for each chapter. Congratulations on a wonderful book. I also enjoyed the poems inside.
